- What is discussed & shared on this forum stays in this forum. This forum is for True locals who have been on a cadet course with a CP or Prestiwck course number. If you know of someone who is not in this forum & is in the above mentions criteria then get them to join. #
- The forum is intended to provide helpful, relevant information to your fellow Wingmen. Content you submit should be relevant & based on your honest opinions & experience. The exception is "The Grape Vine" Forum, which is for rumours & gossip. #
- This forum is created for you all. Do not abuse it and follow the simple rules set here. Its all common sense stuff & not to hard for you aviators to follow. #

- NO SHOUTING- Posting in CAPITALS is considered bad form & the equivalent of "SHOUTING". Resist this temptation, as your posts may be deleted. The only acceptable means of capitals is to highlight part of a message for clarity only. #
- Do not post the same post in multiple forums, Choose the most appropriate forum for your message/topic. #

Things to bear in mind when posting:-
- Do not spam or troll.
- Do not post content that is libellous, defamatory, harassing, threatening or inflammatory. For example, do not use obscenities or profanity & do not express hatred or intolerance for people on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, gender or gender identity, religion, sexual orientation age or disabilities including promoting organisations with such views.
- Do not post content that is obscene, pornographic, lewd, or that contains nudity or sexually explicit images.
- Do not post content that invades other wingmen's privacy. For example emails, phone numbers.
- Do not attempt to drown out other wingmen's opinions. No Spam is allowed.
- Please respect every wingman's opinion or post. On this forum there are wingmen of varying kinds of experience levels & age, this will encourage every wingman to freely speak out & to ask for help. #
- Keep this forum free from politics. Respect that each other will have differing view on politics & keep this forum fun. #

Wingman Responsibilites

Being a good wingman means more than just hanging on Lead’s wing. The wingman is part of a disciplined team, and with that comes additional responsibilities:
- Provide mutual support.
- Maintain formation integrity.
- Assist in mission planning, if requested.
- Keep Lead in sight at all times.
- Be aware of departure, enroute and arrival routing so he can assume the lead, if required.
- Monitor Lead for proper configuration and abnormal conditions.
- Assist during abnormals or emergencies, as directed.
- Monitor radio communication.
- Trust and follow Lead’s direction.
